Learn about e-readers

This will be a program aimed at those starting out with an e-reader, thinking of purchasing an e-reader, and also those who would like to borrow books and audiobooks through the library's WILBOR connection.

Friends of the Marcus Public Library are offering an evening program for those interested in e-readers and/or the library's connection to the WILBOR database.

The program will be held, Wednesday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.  The presenter will be the technologically talented director of the Le Mars Public Library, Sue Kroesche.  She will cover the various types of e-readers and the differing procedures for "loading" materials  onto them including the special procedures for loading e-books and audiobooks using the library's WILBOR program.

The Marcus Library began offering free downloadable books and audiobooks on June 1st of this year.  The Le Mars library has been a participant in the WILBOR program for more than a year.

Attendees are invited to bring an e-reader if they have one.

Refreshments will be served.
